Located on the former Italsider steelworks site in Naples, the project area is characterized by a complex industrial legacy. The primary goal was to transform a neglected brownfield into a permeable public landscape, reconnecting the urban fabric to the sea. The masterplan is strictly organized around a rigorous grid of productive gardens, recalling the ancient agricultural texture of the area. The design process included a rigorous analysis of environmental conditions, maximizing passive ventilation and developing a native vegetation strategy to address soil remediation.
