An exploration of subtractive sculpture and functional geometry. This minimalist valet tray (svuotatasche) is carved from a single, solid block of fine marble, investigating the tension between the heavy, rigid nature of the stone and the soft, organic recess designed to collect everyday items. The design workflow respects and enhances the material's natural vein patterns, translating early hand-drawn ideation sketches into precise digital models for CNC processing, followed by meticulous hand-finishing to celebrate raw, tactile materiality.
